Welcome to Parkadoo (“we”, “our”, “us”). Parkadoo is a free tool that compares a vehicle’s dimensions against a standard UK parking bay. By using this website you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.

1. Using the website

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this website.
• You agree to use it in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• You must not misuse, disrupt, copy, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its data.

2. What Parkadoo is — and its limits

Parkadoo is intended as a helpful guide, not a guarantee. Our results are calculated on the following basis, and it’s important you understand them:

• Standard bay assumption. We compare every vehicle against a standard UK parking bay of 2.4 m wide by 4.8 m long. Real bays vary — many are tighter, some are more generous, and accessible bays are wider (typically 3.6 m).
• Width and door mirrors. Manufacturers publish vehicle width without door mirrors. We take that figure and add a standard allowance for the mirrors, to approximate the width as the car actually sits in a bay. Mirror sizes vary between models, and folding your mirrors in reduces the effective width.
• Manufacturer data. Dimensions and turning circles come from manufacturers’ published figures, which generally represent standard model sizes and minimum (kerb-to-kerb) turning circles.
• Missing turning circles. Where a manufacturer does not publish a turning circle, we do not show a figure — it is marked “not available” — and the parking animation uses a generic curve rather than an accurate, to-scale manoeuvre for that vehicle.
• Real-world factors are not modelled. Our figures don’t account for speed, road surface, weather, tyre wear, vehicle load, fitted accessories (roof boxes, tow bars, wider tyres), aftermarket modifications, or variation between individual bays and car parks.
• You are responsible for your own parking. Always park according to what you can actually see and the conditions at the time. Parkadoo does not replace your own judgement.

3. Intellectual property

All content on this website — text, images, logos, illustrations and code — is owned by or licensed to us and protected under UK intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or reuse it without our prior written consent.

4. Content you submit

If you send us a vehicle request, a dimension correction, or any other information, you confirm it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and does not infringe anyone else’s rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that information to operate and improve Parkadoo.

5. Privacy and data protection

Your use of Parkadoo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we and our partners collect (including via cookies) and how it is used.

6. Advertising

Parkadoo may display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Ad providers may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. How this works, and how you can control it, is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-party links

We may link to third-party websites (for example, manufacturer data sources). We are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.

8. Disclaimers and liability

• We make no warranty that the website content or vehicle data is accurate, complete or up to date.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage — including any parking damage, fines, or costs — arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
